What guests ask us most often

We have staff available to look after you at any time. Even so, if you expect to arrive very late or you are not sure exactly when you will get here, just let us know.

We will give you an access code so you can get into the hotel comfortably at any hour, without having to worry about reception hours.

No. We have a large car park right in front of the hotel entrance, completely free and with no booking needed.

There is plenty of room to park comfortably, and it is a quiet, safe area where you can leave your car for the whole stay.

Pets are welcome at Hotel Santuari.

We only ask that two conditions are met: the pet must never be left alone in the room, and must not get on the beds.

The supplement is €15 per pet per stay. If you book directly through our website, this supplement is free.

Pets can come into the restaurant and onto the terrace.

We only ask that, out of respect for other guests, they stay calm and next to their owners, preferably under the table during meals.

The terrace, of course, is a particularly pleasant spot and ideal for enjoying with your pet.

You can walk it easily. The hotel sits on top of a hill, in a privileged position above Balaguer, but very close to the centre.

By car access is very easy and, if you would rather walk, you do not need to follow the road: there is a direct path down from the Sant Crist to Balaguer in a few minutes.

So you get the quiet and the views of the hotel without giving up having the town centre close by.

All our rooms have two wide single beds. In some rooms they are together and in others they are apart. If you have a preference, just tell us.

Most rooms have a bathtub, but we also have rooms with a shower. If you prefer one or the other, let us know.

As for the views, most rooms face the river Segre and look out over Balaguer. We also have rooms facing the Montsec range and the mountains.

We always try to give rooms with views over Balaguer and the Segre, but if you have a particular preference, tell us and we will do everything we can.

We have one accessible room on each floor, with an accessible bathroom and a level shower that allows wheelchair access.

If you do not need a fully accessible room but would rather have a shower instead of a bathtub, we can arrange that too.

We suggest you tell us what you need when booking so we can assign you the most suitable room.

Every morning you can have breakfast in the hotel café, where we serve coffee, toast and other à la carte options.

At weekends, when the hotel is busier, we also offer a buffet breakfast for €10 per person. You can add it when booking or directly at the hotel; there is no need to reserve it in advance.

Breakfast is served from 8.00 to 10.00. The café service is also available during that time.

If you just want a coffee or something quick outside those hours, ask us: whenever we can, we will look after you.

No. Our restaurant opens on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for lunch, and on Friday and Saturday for dinner as well.

On the days the restaurant is closed, we can recommend places to eat near the hotel and in the centre of Balaguer.

We do not have a conventional charging point, but we do have connections that let you charge electric cars.

We suggest you tell us before you arrive or at check-in, so we can show you where to plug in.

We tidy the room daily, always while you are out, which includes emptying the bins and changing any towels you leave on the floor.

If you leave the towels hanging up, we take it that you want to keep using them and we will not change them.

On longer stays we also change the sheets roughly every four or five days.

If on any day you would rather we did not come in, just tell us or leave the sign on the door.

We have several rooms of different capacities, suitable for company meetings, training sessions, courses, presentations or team gatherings.

We also have large spaces that let us combine the meeting with catering, coffee breaks, working lunches or company dinners and, if you need it, accommodation as well.

Tell us what you need and roughly how many people are coming. We will suggest the layout and the services that best suit your event.

We have several dining rooms of different sizes, which let us take in anything from small groups of 15 or 20 people to large celebrations of up to 200 guests.

We offer different group menus and we can adapt the proposal to the kind of celebration: family lunches, birthdays, company gatherings, communions, weddings or other special events.

A great deal. La Noguera is still largely undiscovered and surprises people with the range of landscapes, heritage and activities it offers.

You can start with Balaguer and its historic quarter and go on to some of the most spectacular spots in the area, such as Sant Llorenç de Montgai, Camarasa, the Mu gorge or the Mont-rebei gorge.

The Sió valley and the nearby lands of La Segarra are also well worth discovering, with small villages, castles and fortified settlements that make for very interesting routes.

If you do not know La Noguera, you will probably be surprised by how much there is to find.

Balaguer is well connected by road via the C-12, the C-13 and the C-26.

Coming from Barcelona, take the A-2 to Tàrrega and continue towards Balaguer.

From Lleida it is about 25 km and roughly 20 to 25 minutes.

Coming from Andorra or La Seu d'Urgell, you can reach Balaguer directly on the C-12.

And from Huesca you can come via Alfarràs on the C-26, a direct route that shortens the journey considerably.
